"Age ain't nothin' but a number"

This is going to be a little bit of a random post but just bear with me.

For those who don't know, I got married when I was 21 and had Bri a few months after I turned 22. Now that I'm 27 and I'm seeing little 21 and 22 year olds and wondered what the heck was I thinking!? Now just a disclaimer: I love my life and wouldn't change a single thing! But I was SO Young!! There's so much life to live!! I am the type of person that if someone tells me I can't do something, it makes me want to do it even more. So if someone had said, "Don't you want to wait until you're a little older?" I would've told them right where to stick it. Me being the feisty one and all.

Now I will say, usually in a group of friends, I am the youngest with one of the oldest kids. That has its advantages! It's actually pretty cool. I always say I'll still be young and hot when my kids are out of the house so I can walk around naked! Someone told me "You'll see about that!" Haha.

There's definitely an advantage to having a family young but I also think there's probably an advantage to waiting too. I was such a sh*thead when I was that young. I knew everything and life kicks you in the teeth and reminds you that you don't. I had an awesome partner to pick me up when I fell down and doesn't that also have its perks?

I also know people my age and older who are still single and my heart breaks a little for them. I would not want to be a dating person in this day and age. Snapchat, FB, Whatsapp. Those are the norms for communicating with someone you're dating but there's something to be said for good ol' fashioned phone calls. Or emails like Adam and I did LOL.

Now that I'm a mom, I don't know that I would be ok with the girls marrying that young. I guess it would have to depend on who it's to or just how mature they were.

So those are just my random thoughts about marrying and starting a family young.
